His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces on Wednesday, attended "Thunder of the North" military exercise, which was jointly implemented by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and British forces.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by King's Advisor for Military Affairs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashal Mohammad Zaben as well as His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein.
The drill included activities such as reconnaissance, counter ambush tactics, evacuation of the injured, and administering first aid to them through a specialized field hospital.
The participants showed a high level of preparedness and fitness during the drill.
The exercise aims to boost military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries through joint training and drills.
His Majesty voiced admiration of the level of planning and coordination between the participating units.
