British Ambassador to Egypt John Casson said that his country is in contact with Cypriot and Egyptian authorities after an EgyptAir plane was hijacked and forced to land at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Amb. Casson said "We are in contact with the Cypriot and Egyptian authorities after a hijacked plane landed in Cyprus."
