Pretoria - Arab Today

South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil in Johannesburg on Friday.
Talks during the meeting covered bilateral ties, in addition to latest security developments in the Middle East region, including the Syrian displacement, the spread of terrorism, and the hostilities Israel is committing against Lebanon, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Bassil, currently in South Africa for the Lebanese Diaspora Energy Conference, indicated that his visit aims to bolster the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two sides agreed to ink agreements on economy, trade, and visa cancellation.
