The head of the Egyptian Hajj Mission (EHM), Maj. Gen. Amr Lutfi, confirmed that the Interior Ministry has completed all preparations for lottery Hajj for the current season, stressing the pilgrims will start heading to Saudi Arabia on August 9th.

Lutfi revealed a package of distinguished services provided by the mission for the first time to the pilgrims, including the booking of distinctive accommodation for pilgrims in the central region of Mecca and Medina, despite the high and continuous rise in prices.

Hajj Committee succeeded in booking 24 distinctive hotels for the pilgrims in Mecca, most of them in the streets of Ibrahim Al-Khalil, Ajyad Al-Sad, Al-Hijra and Gaza, in addition to allocating of air-conditioned buses to transport the pilgrims from the hotels to the holy mosque.

Lutfi said, in an interview with Arabs Today, that a dry meal for pilgrim and five bottles of mineral water in Madinah, and another upon arrival in Mecca, in addition to the other to be used for breakfast in the area of the holy places, as well as a carton of 30 bottles of water will be delivered to the pilgrim as soon as he arrived at his hotel in Mecca.
 
He explained that dry meals contain all the necessary nutrients for pilgrim. "It consists of white beans, cheese, cheese, triangles, jam, honey, tuna, dates, toast bread, juice, biscuits, crisps, crisps, pineapple, tea and sugar wrappers," he clarified. 

He added that seven hot meals will be offered to the pilgrims every day during the three days of Tashreeq in Mina, containing all the necessary nutrients for pilgrims from rice or macaroni, fish, shrimp, poultry, meat proteins, vegetables and fresh fruits.

He indicated that air-conditioned German tents have been provided "Sofa Bid", which are not affected by the sunshine and do not absorb heat. "In addition to providing enough plastic seats, tables and umbrellas outside each group of tents," he said.
