Caccia pays Derian farewell visit

Papal Ambassador to Lebanon, Gabriel Caccia, visited on Saturday, Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on a farewell visit upon ending his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
The pair discussed ways to strengthen the Islamic-Christian relations in Lebanon and the Arab region, as well as consolidating relations between Dar-el-Fatwa and Vatican.
Derian also wished Caccia success in his new diplomatic mission, expressing his appreciation for the efforts he had made during his work in Lebanon and for promoting the Islamic-Christian dialogue
