"Bakri" Early Preparation for Winter Agricultural Season

The First Vice – President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, received in his office at the Republican Palace Tuesday the Wali (governor) of the Northern State, Yasser Yousif, and reviewed the state’s preparations for the winter agricultural season.
The First Vice – President has affirmed the importance of coordination and follow up between the higher committee for success of the winter agricultural season and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Meanwhile, Yousif said that the Northern State’s government targets increasing the cultivation lands and expanding the growing of wheat and legumes for exportation.
He also informed the First Vice – President about the production of more than poultry farms and implementation of a number of projects for enhancing the economic situation for the state’s citizens.
