Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, was sworn in Monday as the First Vice – President of the Republic, while Mohamed Yousif Kibir took oath before the President of the Republic as the Vice – President.

Muttaz Musa was also sworn in as the Prime Minister in new government.

In a press statement, the Vice – President, Mohamed Yousif Kibir, affirmed that they will be of help and support to the President of the Republic, indicating that their assignment came as part of the national program for the economic situation.

He pointed out that recognizing the requirements of the stage needs good measures within the real will to effect a positive change in economic and political conditions
