Lebanese singer Qamar expressed her pleasure for the positive reactions she received over her latest English video clip “Kiss My Lips”, saying that the step aims to take a new approach in her career based on her dependence on presenting new English songs.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she is happy for this experience saying that she seeks to appear on the world stage through performing new kind of songs in English. She added that she exerts increasing efforts to achieve her dreams.
She stressed that she works to diversify her works, saying that she chooses her works carefully not to undermine her career.
She expressed resentment over the criticism of Egyptian high-profile musician Helmy Baker to her latest English song “Kiss My Lips”, saying that such a song comes to express the trend of the current generation. She expressed her appreciation to the Egyptian musician, while stressed that he should take into account the current trends to be able to keep up with the time.
