Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, said the wise leadership of the UAE has great interest in Arabic language which represents the incubator of our national identity and one of the foundations of our culture and future and a source of the noble values of our society. The minister, in his comment on the ministry’s completion of preparations for a reading competition by the end of June, said the ministry adopted a number of innovative initiatives to promote Arabic language among students and enhance their linguistic skills. “Reading is among the most important sources of knowledge. The ministry looks forward to boost the student’s interest in Arabic language and urge them to enrich their experience through discovering more resources in Arabic,” he added.
