Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated Thursday that claims on National Intelligence Agency (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan were not true, adding that it also revealed how perfect Fidan did his job. Speaking to journalists during a visit in central Anatolian Konya province, Davutoglu stressed that content and timing of ensuingly published articles and releases were significant, regarding Wall Street Journal\'s blame on Fidan, which stated that Fidan was \"taking independent tack.\" \"Claims intended to Hakan Fidan are both untrue and an example of a very bad black propaganda,\" Davutoglu added. The Wall Street Journal had published an article named \'Turkey\'s Spymaster Plots Own Course on Syria\' on October 10 on its website, where the author wrote about the process after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met US President Barack Obama in May, 2013, touching also upon Hakan Fidan and giving a detailed background information about him.
