Minister Sahar Nasr
Cairo - Arab Today

Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said on Saturday that she will continue efforts exerted by former investment minister Dalia Khorshid and finalize the investment law and measures aiming to facilitate investors’ business.

In a press release on Saturday after her meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail at the cabinet headquarters, the minister said the investment law will be activated and efforts will be intensified to pump more investment to the most needy areas.

She also underlined that she will discuss with the investors all obstacles facing them and visit foreign countries to promote investment to Egypt.

The minister added that she will visit Lebanon soon to activate the joint Egyptian-Lebanese committee.

She asserted that the government will continue to implement the economic reform program in which it will take new measures to enhance investment climate and cooperation with investors.

A delegations from the World Bank and International Finance Corporation is expected to visit Egypt in the beginning of March to review Egypt’s situation among international indicators.
