US urges all sides in Libya to 'exercise restraint'

The United States on Saturday called for calm in Libya, amid clashes that have killed at least 43 people in Tripoli and injured hundreds more. "We are deeply concerned by the death and injury of many Libyans in recent clashes in Tripoli," US Secretary of State John Kerry said in a statement. "We condemn the use of violence in all its forms and urge all sides to exercise restraint and restore calm."
