US Navy Yard shooting toll rises to 13, suspect named

The number of dead in a mass shooting at a naval base in Washington has risen to 13, police said Monday, naming one of the dead as the alleged gunman. The Federal Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as 34-year-old Aaron Alexis, of Fort Worth, Texas, adding he was a former serviceman.
