Militia: UN worker taken hostage in Central African Republic freed

A foreign UN employee in the Central African Republic who was kidnapped by armed men from the anti-balaka militia on Tuesday has been freed, a military spokesman said.
"We have obtained the release of the employee with MINUSCA (the UN peacekeeping mission in CAR) and have handed her over," spokesman Igor Lamaka told AFP. The release was confirmed by a Western source.
