Iran's "enrichment programme" has been recognised, a senior Iranian negotiator said after intensive talks with world powers in Geneva that produced an accord on Tehran's disputed nuclear drive. "Our enrichment programme has been recognised," deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi said on Twitter but did not elaborate whether it was mentioned in the agreement that was reached after five days of negotiations. Iran had been pushing for what it calls its "right" to enrich uranium to be recognised by the United States, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany in the grouping known as the P5+1.
