Fire on Indian navy submarine, 18 trapped

An explosion early Wednesday caused a major fire on an Indian navy submarine docked in Mumbai, with 18 people trapped on board, a spokesman said. "The cause of the explosion is not known. We are searching for the 18 personnel," navy spokesman Narendra Kumar Vispute told AFP after the INS Sindhurakshak caught fire.
