The Third Field Army's law enforcement forces arrested two suspects and destroyed a four-wheel-drive vehicle in Central Sinai.
In a statement on Thursday, Military Spokesman Tamer el Refae said that large quantities of narcotics were also seized within the course of the army crackdowns in Central Sinai.
The spokesman also asserted that the Third Field Army will continue its efforts to purge Sinai of takfiris and criminals.
