Respecting human rights key to security

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar said on Monday that security could be only achieved through respecting human rights.
Abdel Ghaffar made the comments during his visit to the Police Academy to check on the recent training program given to the academy's students.
"The security message can be only achieved through strong belief and awareness of its importance, the full respect of law and optimizing the rights and freedoms of citizens," he stressed.
During the visit, the minister was briefed on the training approaches and the education and cultural curricula at the academy.
