The UAE national football team has qualified for the eighth round of the Asian Cup after beating Bahrain 2-1 in the match played today at the Canberra Stadium.
The game saw the quickest goal of the Asian Cup so far when Ali Mabkhout opened the scoring for the UAE just 14 seconds into the game. While Mohammed Hussein scored the second goal in the 73rd minute.
UAE will look forward to their next clash with Iran on Monday, which stands as the game that will decide which nation tops Group C
