Tunisian basketball team wins first African title

Tunisia's men's basketball team won their first African championship (Afrobasket 2011) title after defeating Angola 67-56 in the final in Antananarivo, Madagascar, on Sunday evening. Tunisia's victory put an end to Angola's domination of the event since 1989. Angola and Nigeria, which finished 3rd after beating Cote d'Ivoire, will play a pre-Olympic playoff with the winner securing an Olympic spot.
