Dubai - Arab Today

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, HHC, has announced that training has begun for the 2018 edition of the ‘Camel Trek’ to prepare a group of riders to follow the trail of people who traversed the pristine land of the UAE on camel backs.

Organised and supervised by the Centre, the fourth edition of the ‘Camel Trek’ will take place from 17th until 27th January, 2018. The marathon expedition will cover a distance of about 500 km on crossing a number of desert areas in the UAE.

Hind Bin Demaithan Al Qemzi, Director of Events at HHC, said the significant increase in the number of registrations for the ‘Camel Trek’ is a reflection of the successful organisation of this expedition in the past three years.
