Registration for 4th Falcons, Hunting Tournament to begin

Following directives from HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Organising Committee is set to inaugurate the 4th HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Falcons and Hunting Tournament following the success it achieved last year.

Holding this prestigious event comes in line with the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to support the heritage of Bahrain which includes several traditional sports, where the Kingdom has earned many accomplishments. The Falcons and Hunting Tournament is considered a remarkable event in the heritage sports and its great place among the members of the Bahraini society, who have been keen to preserve traditional sports, notably falconry because it represents a valuable and rich part of Bahrain’s legacy.

The Fourth edition of the tournament is expected attract a large pool of participants following the performances showcased in the previous edition. The Organising Committee instructed interested falcon owners to participate to register between December 7-9 at the place of the event.
