The Qatari beach handball defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the 3rd Asian Beach Games being held in Haiyang City. The victory brought the points  tally of Qatar to 8 to lead the group and qualify to the second round. The six teams that qualified to the second round were divided into two groups where Qatar will compete in Group (B) alongside Bahrain and China. On Wednesday, the Qatari team will play two tough matches against Bahrain and China. Ahmad Mohammad Al-Sheabi, President of the Qatar Handball Association, was delighted by the victories of the Qatari handball team in the 3rd Asian Beach Games. On the other hand, the powered paragliding competitions continued on Tuesday with participation of 40 athletes representing 11 countries where Qatar is represented by Jamal Ibrahim Al-Manai. (QNA)
