Qatar down Australia in International Volleyball Championship
Doha - Arab Today
Hosts, Qatar made a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Australia in the Qatar International Friendly Volleyball Championship 2013 taking place in Doha on Monday.
In Monday’s fixture, Qatari volleyball team made deserving win over Australia 28-26,20-25,25-23,22-25 and 15-15.
The prestigious championship brought together four teams including Japan, Lebanon, Australia and hosts Qatar.
The Championship comes as a preparation for all the participating teams who are scheduled to compete in the Asian Volleyball Championship in Dubai, United Emirates from September 28 to October 07, 2013.
