Lekhwiya continued their march towards the Qatar Stars League title, after defeating Umm Salal on Saturday 2-1.
Sebastian Soria opened the scoring after 15 minutes. Vladimir Weis doubled the lead in the 69th minute. Sandwiched in between them was Umm Salal's goal, scored by Egypt's Geddo in the 59th minute.
The win took Lekhwiya's point tally to 52, seven points clear at the top. Meanwhile Lekhwiya are seventh with 30.
