An own goal by Abdul Aziz (76) and Abdulgadir Bakur's 83rd-minute strike moved Al Jeish onto 29 points, six points behind leaders Lekhwiya. In the day's other game, third-bottom Umm Salal picked up only their fourth win of the season with a 4-3 triumph at Qatar SC. Everaldo Cabore's hat-trick allied to Mahir Bakur's 67th-minute strike secured the points for Umm Salal, while Qatar SC replied through goals by Abdullah Ali, Meshal Abdullah and Abdulla Al Kuwari.
