The seventh ring road witnessed, late on Saturday, sensational shows by Kuwaiti drifting champions, resulting in Khaled Al-Aoun and Ali Al-Maqseed being crowned as champions of the sock and modified categories, respectively.
Second in stock was Abdullah Al-Guood, followed by Mardi Al-Azmi. In the modified contest, Al-Aoun came second and Al-Guood was third.
Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, in charge of the rings committee at Basel Al-Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, lauded, in remarks to KUNA, the high-level performance demonstrated by the national drifters. He thanked all the authorities that helped organize the competition.
