Kuwait rowing team heads for 14th Asian tourney

The National Rowing left Monday to Seoul, South Korea, to partake in the 14th Asian Rowing Championships on October 13.A statement by the Kuwait Sea Sports Club (KSSC) said that the tournament would include teams from China, Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, North Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, and host South Korea.The aim of the participation is to develop the skills of the Kuwait team by competing with other Asian counterparts, said KSSC, adding that the tournament would prepare the team for the Arab Rowing Championship in Doha, Qatar, next December.
