Khalid bin Hamad receives corporate social responsibility award

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Chairman of the Bahrain Athletics Association on Sunday received the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s secretary-general Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar who presented to His Highness the African Leadership Award for sports events management .
The award was conferred by the Organisation of Global Corporate Social Responsibility for His Highness's accomplishment of long-distance swimming the distance of 42 km from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain last March.
Also, His Highness received the commemorative tablet for the Kingdom's accomplishment at the Asian Olympics in Incheon city, S. Korea last September.
