Beirut - NNA

Youth and Sports Minister Faysal Karameh received Thursday at his Ministerial office the Secretary General of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, Ezzat Kraytem, and the President of the Lebanese Football Federation, Hashem Haydar. Karameh also met with the Head of Scouts of Lebanon Association, Nabil Baydoun, with talks featuring high on scouts affairs and summer camps' activities. "Despite the current situation, scouts' camps and activities are still ongoing, owing to their great role in raising generations on the concepts of loving their country, and contributing to volunteering works and social services," Baydoun explained. On a different note, Minister Karameh issued a decision to grant a certain amount of money for the participants in the Olympic Games, as a gesture of encouragement.
