Juniors win 6 medals in GCC Athletics Championship

Qatar’s women junior team kept their dazzling performance in the 4th GCC Junior Athletics Championship - Women 2013 to win 6 medals including 4 gold, silver and bronze. In Tuesday’s event , Qatar Bashayr Obaid won the gold medal in the Triple Jump, after teammates, Badia Kamara claimed two gold medals in the long Jump and 100m obstacles and Sara Al Manae clinched the gold medal in Javelin Throw earlier on Monday. The prestigious event brought together five GCC nations, including hosts Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and United Arab Emirates. Source: Qatar Olympic Committee
