Honour for karate team

Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar recently honored members of Bahrain national karate team on their outstanding results between 20105 and 2017.
The awarding of the karate team took place at the committee premises in Seef, where Bahrain Self Defence Association president Ahmed Al Khayyat noted the achievements of the team in different competitions.
Late on, Askar addressed the honorees, in which he asserted the BOC’s commitment to honoring all Bahraini athletes with remarkable results in regional and international championships, and expressed the impressive victories achieved by the karate team over the past three years.
Karate team members, on the other hand, extended his gratitude to Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, for this generous gesture, which is a morale booster and an incentive for them to maintain their top form for future challenges.
