Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens launches
Dubai - Arab Today

The excitement is building for the 2014 Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens as this year organisers are looking for fans to be part of the tournament advertising campaign.
The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is the biggest and most popular sporting event in Dubai, regularly attracting over 100,000 visitors and recording the highest number of broadcast hours of any of the HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series. In a competition announced yesterday, fans are invited to nominate themselves to be the faces of this year's event.
Enthusiastic fans have the opportunity to show their commitment to the event and be selected to feature in the ad campaign. Fans are invited to post a recent #Dubai7s inspired selfie to Twitter or Instagram and tag it #Dubai7sAdvert. Entries should be accompanied by a statement saying why they should be selected to be one of the faces of the tournament this year.
Fans from all walks of life are invited to apply, from children to adults, to supporters in fancy dress, to rugby players, both males and females. Organisers are looking for true Dubai Sevens fans who love the event, rather than supermodels, so anyone interested is encouraged to apply. The panel of Dubai Sevens judges will select the winners based on their photo and statement. Applicants should be available for filming during the last week of August.
All winners will feature in the advertising campaign which includes on TV, Press Ads, posters, buses, taxis, billboards and online. As well as this all winners will receive a pair of season tickets to the tournament taking place from 4-6 December.
Entries close on Wednesday 20 August so those who wish to be part of the competition should enter now.
"We're encouraging our enthusiastic fans to enter this competition to feature in the ad campaign, it will be a lot of fun and a great way to win season tickets as well" said Donal Kilalea, Commercial and Site Operations of Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens.
"The fans are such an important part of the success of this event and we want to take that one step further this year with the most enthusiastic fans appearing in the ad campaign. Entries close on 20 August so we encourage everyone interested to send their entries in as soon as possible," he added.
