Egyption Sports minister delays Hurghada visit

Sports Minister el-Ameri Farouq postponed a planned visit of the Red Sea city of Hurghada on Thursday, where he was to open the 11th World Billiards Cup Competition. The competition, to run on December 6-8, is organized by the Akhbar al-Youm Institution. The minister decided to delay his visit due to the current crisis in the country after pro- and anti-president protesters clashed outside the presidential palace, an official source said.
