Egypt won the 2nd football championship of foreign embassies in Kuwait after defeating Lebanon 2-0 on Friday. The championship he held under partonage of Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The final game, attended by a large audience of diplomats, saw Mohammad Lutfi and Mohammad Al-Afety scoring the winning goals for Egypt. Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah, speaking to reporters after the game on behalf of Sheikh Dr. Mohammad, expressed content for the success of the championship which witnessed participation of 26 teams. He said the foreign ministry was keen on organizing this tournament to strengthen the bonds and relationships between Kuwait-based diplomats.
