Dubai - Arabstoday
ECAT Dubai Municipality thrashed National Pest Control by 10 wickets in the tenth Dulsco Ramadan Twenty20 Tournament in a preliminary round match played at the Zabeel Park cricket grounds. Dubai Municipality took less than six overs to reach the 75-run target set earlier by National Pest Control (NPC), who crumbled after electing to bat first after winning the toss. Azhar Nasir was the star performer for Dubai Municipality as he first scalped three wickets and later scored a turbulent half-century to deservingly earn the man of the match award. NPC batsmen were out of sorts and were bowled out for 74 in eight overs. Azhar Nasir was the star performer picking up three wickets for four runs in his four overs. The chase was fluent for ECAT Dubai Municipality as Nasir was at his best cracking a swift 59 runs off only 21 balls with half a dozen sixes and four boundaries.
