Bike marathon in Alexandria during celebrations of Spanish National Day

Spanish Consul General in Alexandria Jorge de Lucas Cadenas on Tuesday said that a bike-marathon will be held in the coastal city this month during the celebration of the National Day of Spain.
The marathon will kick off from Stanley area in Alexandria as a contribution to refresh tourist movement in the city, the diplomat said at a meeting with Governor of Alexandria Reda Farhat.
The meeting took up ties and cooperation, a statement by the governor's office said.
A conference was held in the city on the historic relations linking the two countries, it added.
