Bahraini elected IFSS member
Sayyar was the first Bahraini to win this post at IFSS.

Abdulrahman Sayyar has been elected a member of the London-based International Federation of Sport Sciences (IFSS).
The University of Bahrain (UoB)’s physical education teacher and general secretary of Nasser bin Hamad Scientific Research Award in the field of sports was voted for this post in view of his vast experience in the field of sport sciences.
Sayyar was the first Bahraini to win this post at IFSS, which was founded with support from leading universities in Europe, the United Nations and UNESCO, aimed to develop physical education and sports around the world through a series of scientific projects and conferences.
The IFSS was established and approved by the United Nations with its headquarters in London, UK.
