The Tunisian national women's basketball team lost to Mozambique's 53-69 at a 2011 Women's Afrobasket day-3 game played on Sunday in Bamako, Mali. The national team had lost to Mali's 45-69 at the opening day and beat Ghana by default at day 2. Tunisia are playing in Group A alongside hosts Mali, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique. The national team need a win during their next two games against Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday or Ivory Coast on Wednesday to qualify for the quarter-final. Group B includes holders Senegal, Angola, Nigeria, Cameroon and Rwanda. The winner of the competition will represent Africa in the 2012 London Olympics.
