Doha - Khaled Al Amari
Qatari football club al-Arabi has signed Bahraini player Sayed Mohamed Adnan from Kuwait's al-Arabi SC on a one-year contract. The 30-year-old defender put pen to paper following a meeting with the Qatari club's manager Abdelaziz Bennij on Monday evening. Secretary-General Ahmed al-Emadi, Club Secretary Ahmed el-Sayed, Managing Director Mohamed Mabrouk and Club Assistant Abdul Rahman al-Khulaifi were also in attendance. The former al-Khor star passed his medical at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha before heading to the club's Grand Hamad Stadium. Adnan is expected to replace outgoing Australian centre back Matthew Špiranovi?. The Qatari club is looking to bolster its front line with two more signings, as it looks to provide supporting strikers for Wanderley Júnior.
