Al-Azhar ready to boost cooperation with Oman

Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb asserted on Wednesday that Al Azhar is ready to boost cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman in the education and Islamic call areas.
This came during a meeting held between Tayyeb and Omani Ambassador to Egypt Khalifa Al Harithi at the headquarters of Azhar Sheikdom.
The grand Imam said that Al Azhar is ready to receive more Omani students to study in Al Azhar universities.
For his part, the Omani ambassador hailed the cultural and and preaching roles of Al Azhar and praised efforts exerted by the grand Imam to bring about peace at all levels.
