Algeria - Rabia Khureis

The Algerian plastic artist Mohamed Hashaichi painted in one of his paintings Palestine, highlighting the suffering of the people of Gaza and resisting the occupier. He painted the Palestinian flag and the flag of Algeria to express the Algerian revolution that managed to expel the colonizer, which claimed the lives of one and a half million people. This painting blends hope and pain at the same time.

He said that all the topics he embodies on his paintings are related to intellectual social issues related to the cultural originality of the society. He seeks to highlight the mechanisms that must be preserved by the society in the shadow of globalization.

Regarding the technique and the material he uses, he explained that the artist is not confined to a particular technique or material, but the fluency of art and its freedom makes him change and introduce new works of art to his surroundings, a kind of modernity.  "Artist's imagination is discovered by the artist, through the paintings that he presents, Hashaichi said, adding that the artist paints not only for himself, but also for his audience.

He is currently participating in the fourth Salon of Fine Arts in the governorate of Warka. The Algerian artist is preparing for a new artistic style. He is also involved in the artistic composition of the Arabic calligraphy on canvas and using oil paint.
