11 activists entered via Rafah crossing Ismailia - Yousry Mohamed A security source in Rafah told Arabstoday that the Gaza Strip has received medical assistance from Russia. This aid, which came from the Russian Solidarity Association, included drugs for patients suffering kidney failure, medication which Palestinian hospitals are currently suffering from a shortage of. The source added that the aid, which weighed five tones, entered Gaza thanks to the coordinated efforts of Egypt’s Red Crescent and its Gaza counterpart. The Russian convoy arrived at Rafah border crossing on Monday, containing a delegation including 11 activists keen to express their support for the health sector in Gaza. The aid is due to enter the Strip on Tuesday.
