Alexandra commits fashion crime

Alexandra Burke performs on stage London - Arabstoday 2008 X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke, gained infamy for her provocative style on and off stage; but this time she has really outdone herself. The singer chose a less-than-flattering, outrageous outfit for both her performances at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire), and Live At the Castle (Leeds Castle in Kent yesterday). The 22-year-old wore an extremely tight, black lycra catsuit; see-through and very unflattering for her curvaceous body shape. She paired the catsuit with a leather gold-studded waistcoat, open-toe ankle boots, an out-of-place black and gold-studded belt and a big gold chain for a necklace. As for her hair, it was worn down with a pink (yes pink) bow clip holding her fringe up. The overall look was biker meets rock chick gone horribly wrong. Let’s hope the festival organizers have paid her well enough so that she can afford a nicer stage outfit for next time.
