A natural gas pipeline exploded and burned in the U.S. state of Oklahoma Monday, though no one was injured, local media reported. The explosion occurred Monday morning in a transmission line near Milfay in central Oklahoma, local media NEWSOK reported. The pipeline is operated by ONEOK, Inc., a Fortune 200 corporation based in Oklahoma. Authorities said gas flow was quickly turned off by ONEOK crew and the fire was out within an hour. No injuries were reported as the explosion happened in the middle of a field and no structures were damaged. It's not immediately known if the explosion has anything to do with the freezing weather. ONEOK officials were waiting for the pipeline to cool before investigating the cause. On Sunday, an explosion rattled a manufacturing plant in east Oklahoma and ignited a fire. Officials blamed a frozen valve for the blast. No one was injured either.
