A man was hit by a car and died after trying to cross a road in Al Khabourah yesterday, the ROP has confirmed.
“An Omani man from Suwaiq was trying to cross the road just before a roundabout in Al Khabourah yesterday, when he was hit and run over by a car,” the spokesman said.
Al Khabourah is located in the Al Batinah region, less than 100 kilometres from Barka.
The ROP also said that the driver of the car which hit the man was not injured.
