1 person missing after boat sinks off Oman coast

Rescue efforts are ongoing after a boat carrying two people sunk at sea in Dhofar waters, officials announced.
The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) rushed to the rescue of passengers on a sinking boat, in the area of Hasik, in Wilayat Sadah of the Dhofar Governorate.
One person was rescued by citizens in the area, while another has been lost at sea.
"The PACDA team is on site to participate in the search of the missing person," officials posted on Wednesday evening.
