9 dead, 30 injured in Vietnam bridge collapse

At least nine people are dead and 30 injured after abridge collapsed in northern Vietnam early Monday, dpa cited officials as saying.A group of around 40 people were on their way to a burial at acemetery in Lao Cai province, bordering China, when the suspensionbridge they were crossing collapsed, said Hoang Hiep, deputy chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety.Ten people are in critical condition.
