New Delhi - XINHUA

At least 12 people were killed in two separate road accidents in India Friday night and Saturday morning, said police. At least seven people, including six school students aged from 14 to 16 and a driver, were killed when their bus met with an accident in the western Indian state of Maharashtra Saturday morning during a school excursion, police said. Five people were killed and one was injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a loader in Banda district of northern Uttar Pradesh state Friday night, according to police. All the five killed were traveling in the loader. Road accident takes place frequently in India due to reckless driving, bad road conditions and excess passengers.
