Palestinian-Israeli talks in Cairo

Indirect Palestinian-Israeli peace talks resumed Sunday evening in Cairo for reaching a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian source said the Israeli delegation arrived Sunday morning and held talks with the Egyptian side and handed them its notices on an Egyptian initiative for a ceasefire.
The Israeli delegation then left for Tel Aviv, the source said.
The Palestinian delegation also held a separate meeting with the Egyptian side who updated the Palestinian negotiators on the Israel stance.
